Birthday Cards in a Hurry ...

Hi everyone, I had to make some birthday cards in a hurry Sunday night to restock the cards at my work that I sell, with the proceeds going to our Relay for Life Cancer Council Team.  I had a rush on sales last week and the supply was getting a bit light on.

For inspiration and to create some cards in a hurry I turned to the 'Lots of Happy' Card Kit.  I have used some of the cards in this kit before but I still had quite a few that I had not made up, just perfect for what I was after.

Naturally I could not just make them up as per the instructions so I had a play with the Granny Apple Green as the card bases.  The scalloped Basic Black squares were already cut as I had cut the wrong size for a previous project so they were just sitting in my supplies waiting to be used

I changed up the designs slightly, but did keep to the original card designs for the layering of the flowers and sentiments.

As I had made larger sized cards than those in the kit, I had the 3 smaller sized envelopes left over.  Not a problem, I just cut them up and used the black and white striped paper on the card fronts.

Some of the shapes were a challenge to use but I am happy with the final cards that I have created.

I still have about 10 card designs that I have yet to put together so I will be making these up this week and posting these ideas also.
