On my card I have use one of my favourite colour combinations of brown and pink together with a little white. I made the flowers that I have used on my card with punches, spritzing with water and scrunching them up to form the flower. The finished effect gives a little jazz to my card along with one of my favourite emblishments, the butterfly.

Just Add Ink - JAI #106 Sketch Challenge
The challenge at Just Add Ink this week is based on the following sketch.
I was inspired by a card made by Therese Calvird, feature in an article on "Designing With Doilies". The card had a butterfly embossed on vellum, the effect is quite stunning so I had to have a go. I was a bit nervous using the heat gun on vellum, thinking it would shrivel up, but it worked great. Love the finished effect, I embossed my sentiment as well to match.

Mojo Monday #229
This weeks challenge at Mojo Monday is another fun sketch designed by Mary Fish to inspire us.
I recently purchased the stamp set "Artistic Etchings" and just had to use it on this card. I stamped my background with "En Francais", I love the effect that using the Crumb Cake ink on the Natural Ivory cardstock creates. The Mini Vintage Tinket was stamped with the Paris Postmark stamp from the "French Foliage" stamp set to create an element for my card. The elements that can be created with all the stamps sets that I have used is very effective. Hope you enjoy my card.

Mojo Monday #228
The Mojo Monday Challenge this week is based on the following sketch design by Mary Fish.
This is the card I created using a stamp set "Field Flowers" that I had not used before. I really like the flowers that I made using this stamp set and I have added my favourite butterflies.

Open Sea Collage
I have trouble making masculine cards (because I cannot put butterflies on them), so I thought I would have a go and make a collage as the topper for this card using all the stamps in the "The Open Sea" stamp set from Stampin' Up. I layered up the card using the Nautical Expedition DSP and coloured cardstock Early Espresso, Cherry Cobler, Basic Grey and Very Vanilla. All products used on this card are from Stampin' Up.

Vintage Vogue Friends
The inspiration for this card is from the stamp set "Vintage Vogue" by Stampin' Up. I have used the flowers from this stamp set a lot on my cards, but this is the first time that I have used the other elements in the set. The Beau Chateau DSP co-ordinates beautifully with the Marina Mist and Very Vanilla cardstock. All products used in this card are from Stampin' Up.

Butterfly Birthday
I love my new stamp set "Kindness Matters" from Stampin' Up, especially the large butterfly in the set. This card is nothing like I imagined when I started, however I am very happy with the end result.
The flower was made using the "Vintage Vogue" stamp set from Stampin' Up. I inked the stamp with Pool Party and then rolled the edges of the stamp with Early Expresso. The finished effect was quite stunning and went perfectly with the colour DSP and colours that I had chosen for the card. All products used in this card are from Strampin' Up.

Simply Stampin' Sketch Challenge
This weeks challenge at Simply Stampin' is based on the following sketch:
The challenge is you must use the above sketch and one Stampin' Up image or sentiment, designer paper, punch or die. All the products used on this card are from Stampin' Up. My first entry into the challenge at Simply Stampin' last week was in the Top 3, I was so excited in that achievement, that I decided to enter this weeks challenge. I must admit I love the colours of soft suede and pink together and was really pleased in the finished card.

The inspiration for this card is the wonderful Beau Chateau DSP from Stampin' Up. I fussy cut the flowers and used them to create a frame for the oval sentiment. The oval sentiment was created by cutting the oval shape using the Ovals Original Die and then embossing it using the oval shape in the Designer Frames embossing folder set. The butterflies were created by stamping them with Early Espresso on Very Vanilla Cardstock, these butterflies are in the Kindness Matters stamp set. I really enjoy making cards with various layers and elements and I am quite please with the finished card.

Just Add Ink Challenge #103 - Add Red and White
Hi Everyone
I thought I would have a go at the Just Add Ink Challenge #103. The Challenge is to just add red and white, simple you would have thought, not so. I had a few trial runs and came up with this card. The hard part was creating a constrasting piece for the bottom half of the card. My interpretation of the challenge is that you cannot use any DSP paper (hope this is correct), you can only use ink and cardstock and my favourite thing, gadgets to create embellishments and contrasts.

Everyday Enchantment
I have a Stamp Club get together in a few weeks and our challenge is to come up with a card design using the Stampin' Up Sale-a-bration Stamps Sets and Everyday Enchantment DSP. I made this card as part of my playing and designing for the Stamp Club get together. I was pleased with the result.

Happy Birthday
A basic Happy Birthday card using circle punches. It is quite effective stamping the word birthday on the DSP and then punching them out with the small circle punch and then backing them onto a co-ordinating circle made from cardstock. All products used in this card are from Stampin Up.
Everyday Enchantment Love
I have used the Everyday Enchantment DSP in this card. With Valentine's Day just around the corner I thought I would have a go at making a Valentine's Day card. The challenge I set myself was to use the the Everyday Enchantment DSP and ribbon. Hope you enjoy my creation.
